Due to a number of requests from our customers we have produced the SHS-501 Petit sac à dos (PSD).

This pack is designed to meet a multitude of needs of those in the field It is an independent small back pack with a number of features that make it ideal for short treks or limited operational needs.

The pack is designed so that the shoulder straps can be removed and can be integrated with a molle vest or carrier, to essentially augment the kit the wearer has on them, without the need to wear a separate pack. The molle loops secure the pack to most plate carriers and LBV s, allowing for comfortable but unobstructed wear.

With this in mind The Petit sac à dos (PSD) has a built in hydration bladder pouch to help keep things integrated in to one system.  Staying with the internal of the pack, the main compartment is large enough to  house a number of necessities for in the field.  It is lined with Velcro to afford the user the ability to secure specific pouches, items etc. inside if wanted.

The external of the pack also features a lined top pocket to safely store your eye
protection when not wearing it.

Below this top pouch is a quick access IFAK pouch system that can be easily access
and replaced.

At the bottom is a deep external pouch that is also Velcro lined, again this allows the user to secure specific pouches etc or use a storage pouch.

The sides of the pack feature a bottom to top zipper access to the main compartment of the pack. This allows the user to configure the main compartment for a multitude of uses in the field where accessing the pack from the top or storage of an item that is longer than the pack body is needed.

The Petit sac à dos provides the end user a number of options in the field

You have operational pants, and then you have the Shadow Pathfinder Pants.  The all new, Shadow Elite 3494 Pathfinder Pants has taken features from its predecessor and made upgrades to be more durable and comfortable in any sort of operational environment

The tactical experts from the Canadian police & military who made the suggestions on the upgrade on these pants have also been testing it on the job for the past few months with phenomenal feedback.

First, we start off with with the lightweight material which in fact is Rip-Stop.  The blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester allows it to be lightweight, comfortable, have temperature control and not rip while the operator wearing them is running through sharp branches or sitting on sharp rocks.

The improved waist adjustment system with heavy duty elastic components allows for better comfort and absorption of body movements.  Notable that the stretch material doesn’t stop at just the waist. Above the knees, as well as the crotch area are made of the same 4 way stretch material.  These pants are perfect for running, kneeling, climbing and laying down for long periods of time, as well as sitting for long periods thanks to the reinforced seating area.

These pants are loaded with pockets.  The front pockets are very large with easy access, layered with double the material to hold knives and flashlights.  The cargo pockets provide lots of space for equipment and include an extra zip-pocket for smaller items.

Furthermore on the back there are two low-profile pockets with hidden zippers for magazines.  Front pockets neatly carry the para-cord which is installed to adjust the height of the knee-pads.

The knee-pads are removable and the pants have a protective covering on the knees when the pads are removed.  It is worth mentioning that the Shadow made knee-pads built to meet the user’s operational needs, providing comfort and protection while in the field.

One of the smartest features on these pants is the double fastening design on the back of the knees.  Other operational pants on the market only have one fastener on the back which still allows the kneepads to move from side to side.  The Pathfinder Pants have two fasteners holding the kneepads completely in place in front of your knees where they are intended to be.

The belt-line is breathable and has wider belt loops, allowing for larger and thicker belts to be worn.

Most notably is the upgrade from velcro to the Canadian button.  Velcro simply is not a good option for pants intended for Special Operations as it is loud.  This is why the new Pathfinder Pants have the Canadian button, which also is easier to open and close while wearing thick gloves.

Just as any of the Shadow Elite products, the Pathfinder Pants have YKK zippers, as well as double stitching throughout the entire body.

The Shadow Elite 3494 Pathfinder Pant is intended primarily for military and law enforcement professionals and will be available worldwide through all of Shadow distributors.
